Silver / Mercury Filling Replacement

In the past, most fillings were done in silver. Silver fillings look like a black spot on the surface of a tooth, usually making the entire tooth look a little gray. If the black look of a silver dental filling is bothersome to a patient, it can be replaced with a white restoration, bonding, or crown and appear more like a natural tooth.

Extractions

Tooth extractions are a simple procedure that removes a tooth that may be bothering you or causing problems with your smile. Dr. Fink may recommend a tooth extraction in some cases including disease, trauma, and crowding.

Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Since wisdom teeth are typically the last to erupt, there is often not enough room for the third molars to grow in as they should. This can cause a number of issues including damage to neighboring teeth and jawbone. Dr. Fink may recommend wisdom teeth removal to avoid these and other serious complications.

Tumor / Growth Removal

It is possible for an abnormal growth to develop in a mouth. These growths may be non-cancerous, pre-cancerous, or cancerous. Dr. Fink and his staff are trained in identifying and removing these growths.

Implant Placement

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners, such as Invisalign®, are a alternative treatment from traditional braces to straighten your teeth. Instead of using wires and metal brackets, clear aligners uses a series of clear trays custom designed to gradually move your teeth. Clear aligners can be used to treat most orthodontic issues that are normally treated by braces.

Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are a safe material that are used to ‘fill’ areas of a tooth where decay had been recently removed. Dental fillings are also used to repair crack and broken teeth and even teeth that may have been worn down from misuse.

Root Canal

Root canals are often recommended if the tooth pulp and nerves become infected. When left untreated, this type of infection and disease may cause the tooth to die and require a tooth extraction. To restore the tooth and avoid the need for extraction, we will remove the infected and injured tissues, clean, and fill the tooth. We will then cap the tooth with a restoration, such as a dental crown, to return the tooth to its original shape and structure.

Implants

Dental implants can be used to replace one missing tooth, several missing teeth, or all of the teeth. Dental implants replace the entire tooth. This includes tooth roots as the dental implant post is surgically placed in the jawbone to replace the missing tooth root and ensure that your dental restoration is stable.

Bridges

A dental bridge is anchored in place through the use of two dental crowns. The bridges are custom made to fit your smile and are placed on the teeth or dental implants next to the space left by the missing tooth. These crowns hold the artificial tooth in place to ensure that your restoration will not easily shift or come loose.

Dentures

Dentures are removable oral appliances used to replace multiple missing teeth. If you are missing several teeth or all of your teeth, dentures might be just what you need to restore the function, beauty, and health of your smile. There are two kinds offered at our office: complete dentures and partial dentures.
